The Plant and the Processes Needed To Produce Premium Products:

Our Pure Guard Product line is blended and packaged at our plant, Omni Specialty Packaging, in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is strategically located on the Red River, a tributary to the Mississippi River, with convenient access to major interstate roadways and railways.

Stringent quality control tests are carried out at various stages of the production of Pure Guard at our Omni Specialty Packaging laboratory. The Company has acquired the quality ISO 9002 which monitors and certifies quality for all products at the plant. The plant supplies its products to some of the most reputed oil companies in the world, apart from bearing the well-known PURE GUARD brand name. The high quality of the products is matched by the excellent service which includes lubricant surveys, analysis of localized lubricant problems, used oil analysis and various forms of technical support. The parent company, Omni Industries, Inc., has a well-knit distribution network which enables prompt delivery anywhere in the world.

Our processes include multiple layers of quality assurance. In addition to the testing and retesting performed by the chemist in the lab, our high-speed packaging lines are equipped to check and measure at every station. These include infrared fluid level and cap seal verification, on-line weight scales and bar code scanners to check for label accuracy.

The testing does not stop with the manufacturing of our products. All processes are constantly tested to ensure that we are meeting the standards set by our customers and ourselves. For example, we have established and constantly monitor and update our safety standards, raw material receiving requirements, shipping deadlines and overall customer satisfaction.

As technically oriented formulating chemists, OSP offers custom blending to match any special needs its clients may have. Further, OSP is able to assist its customers with new product development on a pilot scale basis, extending into market development, and on to full customer-specific manufacturing programs.
